Our client had found the right home in the right location but had dated services and was in real need of tender care as opposed to just a coat of paint. They knew what to expect with the RICS Building Survey reporting defects in the Bathroom, Wiring and Heating system. The property already had a sizeable wraparound ground floor extension and three sizeable bedrooms upstairs, however given the scope of works involved we were still able to increase the bathroom size whilst installing a new full gas central heating system.
Within the full rewire, spot lights were installed throughout the property and an LED mirror to complement the new bathroom.
As the galley kitchen is located in the wraparound we suggested a number of space saving appliances including a Neff hide and slide oven door. Another space saving creation we suggested to have a ground floor WC was a sink cistern combination toilet alongside the integral soil vent pipe.
In addition to making good to the rewire we completely renewed the plaster on the hall stairs and landing as it holding vintage artex swirls! We also renewed the Balustrade in accordance with building regulations.
