LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL BATHROOM ADAPTATION IN PRESTON? CALL HIGHER END CONSTRUCTION!

Based in Preston in Lancashire, we have been helping local businesses and home owners, as well as local authorities and social housing with their bathroom fitting since 2014.

Here at Higher End Construction, we’re here to make life easier – and we do this by providing bathroom fitting based around the individuals needs. Having a level access bathroom or wet room is a priority for most people with mobility issues – no longer do you have to worry about access to baths or shower trays.

But how do we do this? Bathroom installation are created to allow people to have greater access to your bathroom if you have a mobility issue or disability. The most common way we do is is by converting existing bathrooms to wet rooms. This may include providing level access flooring, essential for people in wheelchairs or mobility problems, or building ramps to existing shower cubicles to grant easy wheelchair access.

We look at the current layout of your bathrooms and help decide on a range of features which have been designed to give you the freedom to enjoy your bathroom, with the design, equipment and install focused squarely on your requirements.

From raised or lowered toilet equipment, easy to reach basins and showers, walk-in baths, wet floor and grab rails installation within your reach, we’ll take everything into consideration.

To find out more about how we can help you with your new bathroom fitting, please call our Preston team today on 01772 555084 and one of our skilled will visit you to provide a free, no-obligation quotation. We can also provide a range of information regarding your potential adaptation, and are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Our adaptations are provided for a range of purposes – not just for wheelchair uses but also for ambulant disabled users.

The modern range of options for your bathroom adaptation is wide, with everything from showers that cannot go beyond a certain temperature to prevent injury as well as lowered basins, walk in bathrooms and more. However, the key aspect of any kitchen is the layout.

By designing the layout of the bathroom with you in mind, we can cover everything from the equipment and practicality, but most importantly, the ease of getting in, out and around your bathroom if size is a factor.

No job is too big or difficult – simply give us a call and we’ll be glad to discuss your requirements with you in more detail.

BATHROOM ADAPTATIONS FAQs

I'm in a wheelchair, what considerations in an adapated bathroom are important?

The most important is the ergonomics. For any wheelchair user, there has to be sufficient clearance for you to get your chair in and out of the bathroom, whilst at the same time being able to turn as well safely use the equipment such as the shower. However, these considerations will be part of the specification we design with your involvement.

I find getting around difficult, but I'm not wheelchair bound. Can you help?

Yes! Most bathroom adaptation devices cater for not only wheelchair users but also those with restricted mobility.

Again, the key to any adaptation is the design and specification, and we’ll work with you from quote to completion to help provide a bathroom that’s functional and designed around your specific needs.

What about the shower or bath, toilet and basin? Can you provide assisted living products?

We can. There are a range of manufacturers who make units and appliances specifically for assisted living such as AKW amongst others who we work with to supply and install their products especially in adaptations.
